(REVIEW RESTORAN) RM SITEPU CILEGON
Honesty, this is my first time to try Bataknese food in a real authentic Batak (Karo) restaurant. And, for this time, I order a speciality in their own rich culinary heritage : BPK (Babi Panggang Karo).
This savory delicacy has been well known for some pig eaters in Indonesia, especially for those non-Moslems people who (sometimes) eat pig because they are allowed to (and they want to).
When I order this delicacy, it is completed with some clear broth (soup) as an appetizer.
On another day, I tried Bataknese noodle called Mie Gomak (Gomak Mie), some people called it "Karonese Spaghetti"
To me, this restaurant still keep the authenticity of Karonese taste on its meals. Although i've never been to original Karo Restaurant before this place (*sigh)
Maybe, for the next time I should visit Tobanese or another Karonese Lapo for a comprehensive review.
It's 7.5 out of 10 :)
